Hallo! Vielleicht kann mir ja jemand bei dieser Frage weiterhelfen: Mich würde interessieren welche die größten Pleurothallis-arten sind (sowohl von Blatt/als auch Blütengröße)! Von einigen hört man das sie zu den größten zählen (P. marthae, P. teaguei), aber ich konnte nirgens einen Hinweis auf die größte derzeit bekannte Art finden. LG, Christian
Hallo Christian, ich habe im Januar in Costa Rica in der Nähe des Arenal-Sees eine Pleurothallis mit über 1 Meter langen Blättern gesehen; leider hat sie nicht geblüht, und ich weiß nicht, welche Art es war. Dresslers Feldführer für Costa Rica führt eine Pths. grandis mit Blattlängen bis über 1 Meter auf und nennt sie "a giant among the pleurothallids". Grüße Wilfried

hallo Christian, da gibt es auch noch PLEURO. GIGANTEA,welche sehr gross wird,wie der name schon vermuten lässt... die kleinste überhaupt dürfte PLATYSTELE JUENGERMANNIOIDES sein, nur am rande bemerkt... oder gings in der zwischenzeit noch kleiner???
hallo Chistian, bins nochmal: PLEURO. COLOSSUS wird auch sehr groß,die stämme 50-100 cm,die blätter 30-40 cm lang,bei einer breite von 20-30 cm!!! zu GIGANTEA hab ich noch nix gefunden...
